The Options Administrative Associate provides support to the Options project team for Arc-Com.  This position is responsible for assisting with Custom projects, processing custom orders, and fielding related questions from Sales Account Executives.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates Custom Developments and Special Finishing requests with our mill sources and our sales team.
  • Handles preparation, shipping and receiving of custom samples.
  • Assists in maintaining sample library of custom developments and fabrics treated with Special Finishes.
  • Order entry and order acknowledgment for custom projects.
  • Responsible for weekly updates to our mill resources to track orders and ensure that they are delivered on schedule.
  • Communicates with our sales team frequently and expeditiously about all aspects of custom projects---from start to finish.
  • Follows through with projects with our sales team from beginning to end as well as projects and the status of orders.
  • Assists with the processing of invoices from our mill sources for custom orders.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Detail oriented and organized, with excellent follow up skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic fabric knowledge (ability to review colors/patterns).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to look through fabric sample bins or fabric bolts in our warehouse to pull, cut, overlock (sew), label, and ship to our clients.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Industry experience a plus.
